The Committee considered reply dated 14.4.2008 of the institution in response to ERC letter of clarification dated 18.3.2008 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that recognition order under Clause 7(11) of NCTE Regulations, 2007 for PTT (D.Ed.) course with an annual intake of 50 (fifty) from the session 2008-2009 may be issued.

The Committee considered the reply dated nil (received on 1.1.2008) and replies dated 10.1.2008 & 6.2.2008 of the institution in response to ERC letter of clarification dated 12.10.2007 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that recognition to PTT (D.Ed.) course of the institution be refused since after repeated notices, the following deficiencies still exist:

  1. Affidavit on Rs.100/- stamp paper duly attested by notary in prescribed format not submitted.
  2. Building completion certificate from the competent authority not submitted.
  3. Principal & staff selected are having qualification of PG & B.Ed., hence not qualified as per NCTE norms
  4. Details of website in the mandatory disclosure format not submitted.

The Committee considered the reply dated 23.4.2008 of the institution in response to ERC notice under 7(12) of Regulations, 2007 dated 16.4.2008 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that recognition to B.Ed. course of the institution be refused since after repeated notices, the following deficiencies still exist:

  1. Principal is not qualified as per NCTE norms.
  2. Procession fee of Rs. 40,000/- for re-inspection as asked for not submitted.

The Committee considered the reply dated 16.11.2007 in response to ERC notice dated 19.9.2007 along with relevant documents available in institution file, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that notice may be issued giving 21 days time with a direction to the institution to comply the following deficiencies:

  1. Required number of teachers qualified as per NCTE norms have not been appointed.
  2. Downloaded copy of staff list and affidavit not submitted.
  3. Details of website in the mandatory disclosure format not submitted.

The Committee considered the replies dated 1.4.2008 & 4.4.2008 in response to ERC notice dated 8.3.2008 along with relevant documents available in institution file, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that this case may be deferred to the next meeting.

The Committee noted that reply to ERC letter of intent u/s 7(9) of Regulations, 2007 dated 19.2.2008 is awaited and considered  the relevant documents available in institution file, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that notice may be issued giving 21 days time with a direction to the institution to comply the following deficiencies:

  1. Reply to ERC letter of intent u/s 7(9) of NCTE Regulations 2007 dated 19.2.2008 has not been received. (Copy enclosed)
  2. Certified copy of land ownership/ lease documents (as per provision under Regulation 8(8))
  3. Approved building Plan from the competent authority.
  4. Building Completion certificate from the competent authority.
  5. Details of Website in mandatory disclosure format.

 

Further, the State Govt. representative present in the meeting took note of the above position of the institution and the Committee decided that the State Govt. representative may be requested to expedite the matter with the institution.

The Committee considered replies dated 2.8.2007 & 6.5.2008 of the institution in response to ERC letter of intent dated 4.7.2008 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that recognition order under Clause 7(11) of NCTE Regulations, 2007 for PTT (D.Ed.) course with an annual intake of 50 (fifty) from the session 2008-2009 may be issued.

The Committee considered the reply dated 7.4.2008 of the institution in response to ERC notice dated 8.3.2008 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that recognition to PTT (D.Ed.) course of the institution be refused since after repeated notices, the following deficiencies still exist:

  1. Principal          & teachers are not qualified as per NCTE norms.
  2. List of teaching staff is not countersigned by the competent authority of affiliating body or affidavit on Rs. 10/- stamp paper is not submitted.
  3. Staff list and affidavits downloaded through their website not submitted.

The Committee considered the reply dated 12.5.2008 of the institution in response to ERC notice dated 1.5.2008 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that recognition to B.Ed. course of the institution be refused since after repeated notices, the following deficiencies still exist:

  1. Documents as per notice dt. 16.02.2008 point (iii) i.e. the institution has not submitted the building completion certificate. The institution is to clarify whether the building is under construction and (iv) i.e. Registered lease-deed / certificate from Registrar regarding land and building is not submitted.
  2. Mode of possession not clearly given in the fresh affidavit.
  3. Regarding space for institution in addition, reply in response to ERC letter No. 10840 dt. 13/14.02.2008 is awaited from the affiliating University.
  4. Presently the institution has not submitted any other documents regarding teaching staff.
  5. The institution has not submitted any document vide its letter dtd. 12.05.2008 as asked vide ERC letter No. 10979 dated 1.5.2008.
  6. Principal is not in position.
  7. Particulars of teaching staff in prescribed format but in this format designation of teachers and permanent / Temporary / Ad-Hoc / Part-time cannot be ascertained.
  8. Website as claimed by the institution is not found launched.

The Committee considered the reply dated 12.5.2008 of the institution in response to ERC notice dated 12.4.2008 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that recognition to B.Ed. course of the institution be refused since after repeated notices, the following deficiencies still exist:

  1. The institution has not submitted the documents as asked for vide ERC notice dt. 12.04.2008.
  2. After order u/s 7(11) of Regulations, 2005 dated 14.12.2007 and Notice dated 12.4.2008, the institution has not submitted the fresh list of teaching staff.
  3. The institution has submitted the photocopy of appointment letter for the post of lecturers.
  4. Copy of affidavit, staff list as per NCTE proforma is not available at Institution’s Website.

The Committee considered the letter dated 3.5.2008 and reply dated 4.6.2008 in response to ERC letter of intent u/s 7(9) of Regulations, 2007 dated 9.5.2008  along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that recognition order under Clause 7(11) of NCTE Regulations, 2007 for B.Ed. course with an annual intake of 100 (one hundred) from the session 2008-2009 may be issued.

The Committee considered the reply of the institution dated 7.3.2008 in response to ERC Notice dated 19.2.2008 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time, summary report of Sub-Committee and decided that notice under Clause 7(12) of Regulations, 2007 may be issued giving 30 days time with a direction to the institution to comply the following deficiencies:

  1. Completion of construction of extra building area by the institution has not been assessed by ERC visiting team. 
  2. Required number of teachers qualified as per NCTE norms need to be appointed and original list of teaching staff countersigned by Registrar of affiliating University is to be submitted.
  3. Website is not opening, which is to be launched as per Regulations. Copy of affidavit, staff list as per NCTE proforma is to be made available at Institution’s Website.

 

          Further, the institution is required to deposit processing fee of Rs.40,000/- towards re-inspection of the institution as per NCTE Regulations.
